Oceana County History Needed for New Book

The Oceana County Historical and Genealogical Society is putting together Volume III of its History of Oceana County, Michigan, and will be published this year, in coordination with the county's 150th anniversary.

The Society is seeking submissions for the book. Family, business, organization or church histories of up to 400 words, with one photo, will be accepted at no cost. Additional words are 15 cents and additional photos are $10. Advertising, memorial and tribute space may also be purchased.

The deadline for submissions is March 31.

Books may be ordered in advance at $55 per book, plus $10 shipping and handling, with expected delivery in November. After July 1, the price increases to $65. Complete information is available from the society at (231) 873-2600.
