Battle of Trafalgar - New Database

The UK National Archives has placed online a database of persons who fought in the famous Battle of Trafalgar. The Battle of Trafalgar, in 1805, was the most famous naval battle in history, involving 18,000 men, and apparently, one woman.

I'm sure everyone of you have listened to some other amateur genealogist yap about being descended from Pocahontas. Well, the same goes with Brits, except that it's with being descended from an ancestor who fought in this famous battle. It's just one of those things. Well, now they can discover the painful truth.

Placing the database online was done as part of the 200th Anniversary of the Battle. Internet users can search the database for free.
