Family Tree Connection Reaches 400,000 Records
Genealogy Today announced this morning that its subscription database service, Family Tree Connection, surpassed the 400,000 records mark.
Family Tree Connection focuses on archiving the hard-to-find materials, the stuff you won't find on Ancestry.com or RootsWeb, like society member lists, insurance company claims, and school souvenirs. They also include more popular materials like cemetery transcriptions, school yearbooks, and church records, but keeping with the theme of "hard-to-find" sources. Most of the material in their database ranges from the period of 1830 to 1930.
An annual subscription to Family Tree Connection sells for $29.95.
