Walking With Your Ancestors

Walking With Your AncestorsWalking With Your Ancestors is a fairly new book, released a couple of months ago from Family Tree Books. It helps genealogists to expand their awareness of how maps and other geographical resources, like atlases, gazetteers, and global positioning systems can assist in finding elusive ancestors.

Specifically, the book explains how to find historic maps that can aid in their research, locate obscure towns and villages, determine shifting boundary changes, how to use maps and other geographic tools to find cemeteries and ancestral homesites.
